Zently began in property — simplifying how renters and landlords live together. Today we solve the harder problem: getting the right eyes on your listing.
In 2017 we launched as a prop-tech company in the San Francisco Bay Area: rent payments, roommate expense splits, maintenance requests with photo proof, and landlord tools to fill units faster. We learned every friction point between a guest and a key.
Listings alone do not create demand. Algorithms reward motion, personality, and native short-form video. Hosts who post consistently win discovery; hosts who rely on stock photos blend into the feed.

Vacancy is expensive. Invisibility is worse. Most hosts are caught between empty calendars and empty content calendars.
Every unfilled week costs more than a modest discount. When your listing sits in the middle of identical galleries, you compete on price alone. Organic reach is the cheapest top-of-funnel — but only if you show up in feeds where renters and guests actually scroll.
Reels, TikTok, and Shorts demand cadence. Shooting weekly B-roll across multiple units is a second job. Most hosts do not have a studio, a videographer, or four hours after every clean-turn to edit.
Wide-angle stills from the same angles read as interchangeable. Platforms surface native, human, in-space video. Static grids do not build trust for high-consideration stays or long-term leases.

You
Bring interior and detail shots, a host or persona reference, brand colors, amenity notes, and any supporting stills — product UI, neighborhood context, or staging references. These assets anchor what the models are allowed to show. Zently does not invent rooms you never photographed.
Screenwriter
Gemini drafts a screenplay: hook, story beats, tone, and structure matched to the format you are targeting. A Reel script differs from a carousel narrative or a portfolio montage. Optional caption direction travels with the script so your post copy aligns with what viewers see.
Cinematographer
Nano Banana 2 generates the first frame of each scene from your first-frame description plus ingredients. Character, wardrobe, and space compose in a single photoreal image. For multi-scene pieces, the extracted last frame of the previous scene informs the next — reducing drift and keeping visual continuity across cuts.
Editor
Veo performs image-to-video from that frame — primary clips at platform-native durations, with optional extend segments for longer single-take moments. Motion is described in production language: handheld micro-movement, walk-through pace, reveal timing — not generic “make it cinematic.”
Studio output
You receive vertical video files and stills sized for social distribution. Batch variants from one ingredient set let you test hooks without reshooting. Review before you publish; your listing story stays under your control.
